No. Nobody at Patriots Unite works for a political party, and no party pays us, funds us or has any say in what we do — including the ones we verify. That’s the whole point: a badge from us means something precisely because we’re not the party handing it out. We’re run by Digital Platforms Limited, a company registered in England.

Yes, and it’s easier than it sounds. There’s nothing to install and nothing to fill in beyond your email address. The one fiddly bit is saving an email onto your computer, and we’ve written that out step by step with pictures of what to click. If you get stuck, send us a message and a real person will walk you through it.

Not at the moment, and we’d rather say so now than let you get halfway. Phones can’t save an email in the form we need — it’s a limitation of the mail apps, not something we can code around. On a computer or laptop it takes a few minutes. If you have one at home, or a family member does, that’s all you need.

Yes, and it stays free. There’s no charge, no trial that runs out, and no point later on where we ask for card details. We don’t sell your membership details, and we never will.

We check who really sent it, that the seal is genuine, and enough of the wording to be sure it’s a real membership or payment email. We keep a copy so your badge can be checked again later if anyone ever questions it. We never sell it, never pass it on, and never market to you off the back of it. You can delete the lot permanently from your account page whenever you like.

Only what you choose to show. A badge shows no name at all unless you add one and switch it on, and you decide that separately for each badge you hold. Your email address is never shown to anyone and never given to the party. Badge pages are also kept out of Google, so yours is something you share, not something a stranger finds by searching your name.

Because no British party gives anyone a way to look you up — their membership lists are theirs, and quite rightly so. But the email they sent you is proof you already have in your own inbox. It carries a seal from their computers that covers who it was sent to, and nobody can fake that. We don’t need anyone’s permission to check it.

Because that’s honestly all we were able to check. Reform sends no welcome email and no receipt when you join, so the only sealed email you hold is a sign-in link for their member portal. That proves Reform holds an account in your name. On its own it doesn’t prove your subscription is paid up to date — somebody who had cancelled would still have an account. So the badge says what we checked rather than claiming more. It’s also why we ask for a link from the last 24 hours: a recent one shows the account is live.

Restore Britain and Reform UK are the two we can do today. Tell us who you’re with and we’ll add them — each party is a small, separate piece of work, so it’s a matter of days rather than months. The ones we’re asked for most get done first.
