Are you run by Restore Britain?
No. Patriots Unite is completely independent and not affiliated with, endorsed by or funded by any political party or organisation. We verify membership from the outside — that independence is the entire point of a verification layer.
What happens to the email I forward?
We read the sender, the cryptographic signatures and enough of the contents to confirm it’s a genuine membership or payment email. We store it encrypted so a verification can be audited later. We never sell it, never share it, never market to you off it, and you can wipe it permanently from your dashboard.
Who can see my name and details?
Only what you choose to publish. Your profile can be your real name, a handle, or nothing but a verification number. Your email address is never shown publicly and never given to the organisation.
Why forward an email? Why not just log me in?
Because no British political organisation offers a membership API. The email they already sent you is the proof you already hold — it is signed by their mail servers and hard to fake. It’s the fastest honest route to verification that doesn’t depend on anyone’s permission.
Is verification genuinely free?
Yes, and it stays free. We make our money on cards and merchandise, not on your membership. There is no upsell wall between you and your badge.
